Jigsaw open Duke Street Emporium, W1

Jigsaw's CEO, Peter Ruis has spearheaded the opening of a brand new premium concept store for the brand, located diagonally opposite Selfridges, on Grosvenor's up and coming Duke Street, W1. The shop called "The Duke St Emporium" showcases Jigsaw's premium line product as well as brands such as Marni, See by Chloe, Victoria Beckham and Aesop.

Vilebrequin to open its third London store

Orme Retail are pleased to announce that the French Swimwear brand Vilebrequin have acquired 57 Ledbury Road. It will be Vilebrequin's third central London store and is due to open May 2014.

Shaftesbury expands its Fitzrovia portfolio

Shaftesbury has appointed Orme Retail to act as letting agents on its Fitzrovia estate in London.

The growing portfolio of Charlotte Street and the surrounding Fitzrovia area currently consists of 15 restaurants and 4 shops. It is home to a mix of food, fashion and lifestyle brands such as Roka, Gaucho Grill, The Charlotte Street Hotel and Ted's Grooming Room as well as a number of contemporary independent restaurants and retailers.

A.P.C. acquire its second UK store in London's West End.

19 February 2014

Orme Retail was instructed to secure a second store for the French high end fashion retailer A.P.C. as part of the brand's London expansion programme. Orme was also instructed in the brand's first London store acquisition at 15 Redchurch Street in March 2012.

The brand acquired 48 Lexington Street, London W1 on the basis of a new five year lease.

Oliver Wilson from Orme Retail acted on A.P.C.'s behalf.

We are very pleased to confirm that we have located and secured Acne's second London shop, at 93 Pelham Street, London SW7, just next to Chanel. A new 15 year lease has been signed on the site, formerly a Thai restaurant, that at the time of the deal was approx. 620 sq ft on the ground with 1,670 sq ft in the basement.

We can't wait to see what the store will look like and look forward to the opening party!

All of us at Orme are exceptionally proud that Mr. Hare has won the Emerging Luxury Leader award at this year's Luxury Briefing magazine award event, held on Tuesday 11 June at Bloomberg's HQ on Finsbury Square, London EC1. An excellent night was had by all at the event, which ended with an after party at the nightclub Whisky Mist for some late night networking!

We are pleased to announce the conclusion of the assignment negotiated for women's fashion brand Marilyn Moore's Richmond-upon-Thames shop to German women's brand OSKA. Ahead of the assignment a nil-increase of the 23 November 2013 rent review was secured, keeping the rent for the shop at £60,000 pax for the lease to expire late November 2017. OSKA contributed £3,000 + VAT to Marilyn Moore's legal fees as part of the deal.

This flagship property, which sits adjacent to Matches in the heart of Notting Hill, has been acquired by the German Ladies fashion retailer Schumacher. The property will be the brand's first stand alone retail outlet in the UK.
