Fenn Wright Manson Expands

Glamorous High Street ladieswear retailer Fenn Wright Manson has recently taken stores in Ringwood, St Albans and Godalming.

Orme Retail identified and negotiated all 3 new stores. In St Albans they have acquired the former Springfield Pharmacy at 19 Market Place on the basis of a new 10 year lease and are due to open at the end of June.

In Ringwood they have opened a 1,100 sq ft store next to Crew Clothing again on a new 10 year lease, and in Godalming they are now fitting out the new store at 65 High Street.

Patagonia comes to London!

Orme Retail acted for Patagonia, the Californian based outdoor retailer, to acquire a London flagship store in Covent Garden, which is due to open its doors this summer.

The 5,000 sq ft store will open in June on Langley Street, in a former brewery and will showcase the full product range of the brand, including technical products, outdoor clothing and footwear.

It will be Patagonia's second UK store and is to be their only London location.

Designer Dogs Head for Westbourne Grove

Acting on behalf of a private Landlord Orme Retail have let 179 Westbourne Grove to Verve London.

Verve London Pet Boutique & Cafe currently trades from locations in the heart of Camden Stables Market and it is, to date the very first and only pet boutique and cafe in Europe. They will be stocking the latest in upmarket clothing and accessories for your pets.

The Village Bicycle comes to Notting Hill!

Acting on behalf of a private Landlord, Orme Retail has let 79-81 Ledbury Road to a new concept store, "The Village Bicycle". Inspired by 1960's London vintage store, 'Granny Takes A Trip' and Paris mecca 'Colette', the conceptual boutique on Ledbury Road aims to offer something different to the current retail offer in Notting Hill.

The store will sell a mix of vintage and contemporary clothing from the likes of Mark Fast, Todd Lynn, Bodyamr and Felder Felder, as well as art curated by Tyrone Wood of the Scream Gallery on Bruton Street.

The shop is currently fitting out with an opening date for 25th March 2011 provisionally set.

White Stuff expand in Ipswich

White Stuff are acquiring an assignment of the lease at a passing rental of £65,750 p.a.x. from Marstons plc advised by EWS Surveyors.

Orme Retail advised White Stuff on the new premises, which will provide app 1,900 sq ft of sales on ground floor.
